BACKGROUND
Realms/Loot bottom-up approach to world-building has led to an explosion in community-created lore and assets. The assets are creative primitives but lack the visual elements needed to reach a wider audience.
Player projection art is used in the game industry to give an emotional response to what the user experiences. Examples of this style can be seen across all AAA games, where the imagery is not necessarily the actual gameplay. Diablo cut scenes are a perfect example of this.
This proposal is designed to develop the Realms player projection art style.
PROPOSAL
Bibliotheca will commission Jose Ochoa to develop a detailed landscape image of a Realm. This will define the look and feel of the player projection art style moving forward.
