In August 2024, the CoW Grants Committee approved a grant to April following an RFP initiated by Felix to build an open-source tool for verifying MEV Blocker transactions. The grant was structured into three milestones:

Despite a collaborative and supportive approach, the project did not reach the intended scope outlined in the grant application and RFP. The grantee was given multiple opportunities to align with expectations, but the outcomes fell short. The Grants Committee proposes to close the grant to April with Milestones 2 and 3 marked as incomplete and unpaid.
If this vote passes, the grant will be considered closed and no further funds will be disbursed for this project.
