Grant Description:

Due to a miscommunication with the supplier (Ackee) in terms of scope, the budget that was passed in the previous snapshot is insufficient. The revised, and final audit scope is available here.

In line with the previous proposal, Safe have agreed to split the additional costs. Below in block quote is the previous description:

This grant application serves as a technical continuation of the grant for composable conditional orders.

After receiving audit offers from four prominent audit firms, together with the Safe team it was decided to share the cost of the audit and recommend Ackee blockchain as auditor for the ComposableCoW and ExtensibleFallbackHandler contracts.

Grant Goals and Impact:

Provide additional confidence in the security of the smart contracts in question, with the intention to use those contract in a production environment.

Below are the current state of milestones, and revised budget for the completion of audit milestone.

Funding Request:

The revised offer has a cost of $24k, which has been decided to be split equally between CoW Swap and Safe. Previous budget approval was up to $11K for CoW's contribution. Therefore, the funding request is for an additional $1K, for CoW Swap's final $8K payment.

Budget Breakdown:

Funds will be used to pay for a full audit week which will cover ComposableCoW and ExtensibleFallbackHandler.
