Should we implement flat or zero price minting?

Voting ended almost 5 years agoSucceeded

The proposal is to decrease the price of a corgi to a flat rate of either zero or a small amount of 0.01, 0.025, or 0.05. This does not include gas cost which we all know is incurred by claimer no matter which option gets passed.

Choose from one of the 5 options and cast your vote (scroll to bottom).

This is achievable by setting the setDiscountPerBlock and setFloorPrice parameters in the latest minting contract that was implemented according to the result of votes in the last proposal.

For context, concern was raised in the discord community in response to sentiments expressed in wider community, that, most projects using bonding curve ramped price are suffering from sales grinding to a halt after initial momentum. It was conjectured that a trend to move to flat fee minting will become common.

One suggestion in wider community even suggested dutch auction style minting, which was tried out with limited success in the last proposal.
