The board is responsible for setting the overall direction of the organization and ensuring that the company has a clear vision, mission, and long-term strategy.
Monitoring the performance of the organization, including financial, and operational performance and achievement of strategic goals. Setting goals, and measuring results. Help plan revenue-generating activities and secure operating funds so the organization can continue to fulfill its mission. Appointing staff to run Crypto Chicks operations (note: given the current environment of marketplaces paying greatly reduced royalty fees, the board will need to find individuals who are willing to contribute within limited CC's revenue, or on a part-time volunteer basis. As revenue grows, good contributors can be transitioned to paid roles).
This is a primary objective of the board. Working with staff members to develop short and long-term plans. Identifying and managing the risks that the organization faces, including financial, legal, and otherwise. Ensuring the organization meets all legal and ethical obligations, and ensuring that the organization behaves with integrity. Board members themselves are expected to have good virtues and function with the highest integrity.
The Board should function for the best interests of the Crypto Chicks brand as a whole, and not for the benefit of any group, faction, or individual. Note that ownership of Crypto Chicks is not up for discussion at this time. B0b has been given legal advice to retain ownership of the entity until all legal matters are resolved. In practical terms, there is no difference in function as already 100% of all royalties and revenue are being re-invested into the Crypto Chicks brand, minus a necessary allotment for taxes and legal entity upkeep. Note that so far none of Crypto Chicks revenue have been allotted for such purposes and thousands of dollars of taxes have already accrued, which will need to be covered by revenue. The focus of the organization is clearly outlined above, which needs to be the focus of the board.
