For the return of the distribution, and the new chapter for Moons, I thought it would be nice to upgrade the ranking system for the Moon badges.

What are Moon rank badges?

They are those little sea icons next to your moon count. It goes from amoeba to the big whale, going through turtle, lobster, etc...

They are nice, and I'm gonna miss some of those, but it might be time to upgrade them.

Proposed ranks:

(Symbols aren't finalized and can be enhanced by an artist)

Only the symbols will show, not the name. So obviously, if you are a woman, you'd be a princess, countess, baroness, Moon goddess, etc...but the name isn't written anywhere.

What are the benefits of the new ranks?

-More prestigious ranks.

-It matches better the milestones users care about.

-It might create a little more incentive for some.

-There will be a slightly more visible increase in size and detail of each badge, as you move up the rank, so it will be a little more obvious which rank is higher.

-Less confusing different colors, and one uniform gold color for the rank icon.

-Potential to attach more elements to this like collectible NFTS.

Potential future perks like Moon rank NFTs.

This proposal is for the Moon rank badges, but one thing we could add to these ranks in the future, if it becomes possible, are collectible NFTs you get when you reach higher ranks.

So NFT airdrops every time you reach a new rank.

The NFTs might start at something like baron/baroness. Once you reach baron, you get a baron NFT. Then when you reach Viscount, you get your second NFT for that new rank, and so on.

This will be based on the balance of the wallet you use for governance and distribution.

So obviously, more people will have the baron NFT, so it won't be as collectible, but the higher you go, the naturally more rare it becomes.
