As a complete novice in Crypto who is just about to reach my 1st Coinaversary, handling CryptoU challenges has been a big hurdle for me personally (admittedly). Sometimes I didn't know where to begin, what questions to ask, and not be totally ashamed that I don't know all these acronyms/words -- DAO? NFT? Staking? Huh? I felt a little embarrassed working for this company, wanting to be crypto forward, only to fail and fail again at my attempts (yes....we exist in the company).
While having #askCryptoU has been wonderful, I found it less intimidating to have my direct teammates or people I've worked with personally who consider themselves more well-versed than me to kindly take the time out of their day to teach it to me and walk it through with me (#Blessed with amazing teammates). My manager and teammate even made time to help the whole team! That being said, once I did my challenge, I thought definitely I could pay it forward by helping others too. The best way to learn is by teaching others, and why not do it within our own communities here at Coinbase?
Therefore I propose: CryptoU Community experts! We should encourage and reward those who actively help others through CryptoU challenges. People can still reach out to ask-CryptoU if they choose of course, but let's encourage our whole global team to come together and for people like myself to challenge teaching others too.
Those who help others can receive some sort of reward. For example: -help 1 person: NFT of #CryptoCommunityBuilder -help 5 others: NFT of #CryptoCommunityExpert -help 10 others: NFT of #CryptoCommunityWizard
Can be documented by having people fill out a google doc form when they do a 1:1 or 1:few session with others to help on challenges :) Or make swag. Anything to say thanks to our community supporters.
