DAO Shrine Purchase Proposal 1 of 3

The DAO wants to purchase a Shrine.

The new forge interface will use this DAO owned Shrine as the default shrine selection.

This enables new or casual users to ignore the step of selecting a shrine.

The DAO needs to decide on these details:

1. How do we acquire 42 Karma Crystals?
2. What do we do with the 10,000 $CANDLE that should be spent on the Shrine?
3. What Fee do we set?

These will be split into three simultaneous proposals.

1. How do we acquire 42 Karma Crystals?

Option 1: Bypass the mechanisms, mint 32*42 Karma, forge 42 Karma Crystals.

• Pros: Free for the DAO. Takes a couple of minutes.
• Cons: Undermines the effort users put forth to mine Karma.

Option 2: Purchase the Karma Crystals on Paintswap.

• Pros: Rewards users for their participation. Allow market to define fair value of the Crystals.
• Cons: Will take longer and cost FTM.
