Alpha Shrines

Shrines will be the next DAO configured product, like the Familiars.

What do Shrines do?

They allow users to process Cult Resources into Cult Crystals and Relics. For example, they will allow users to process Familiar Dust into Familiar Crystals. The owner of a Shrine can set a per-crystal-$CANDLE-fee.

What are the limitations of $CANDLE fees?

In general, the fees will be limited to 0-100 $CANDLE per crystal. This varies based on the TIER of the Shrine.

What is the TIER of the Shrine?

The TIER determines 4 properties: 1 - Cost : how much the owner has to shell out to build the Shrine this cost is in Karma Crystal and $CANDLE 2 - Minimum Fee: the minimum fee that can be charged by the owner 3 - Fee Split: the % of the fee that goes to the owner 4 - Bonus: the bonus (if any) applied when forging

Do you need to buy a Shrine? No

This initial proposal requests the DAO agree on some critical features of the Shrine system.

A system following these rules is as follows:

Alpha Shrines -Cost: 42 Karma Crystals & 10,000 $CANDLE -Fees: 0 - 100 $CANDLE per Crystal/Relic -Fee Split: 1% DAO 99% Shrine Owner -Bonus: 2x Crystal Rate

Beta Shrines -Cost: 25 Karma Crystals & 2,500 $CANDLE -Fees: 1 - 100 $CANDLE per Crystal/Relic -Fee Split: 10% DAO 90% Shrine Owner -Bonus: +1 Crystal per 4 Forged

Gamma Shrines -Cost: 5 Karma Crystals & 500 $CANDLE -Fees: 5 - 100 $CANDLE per Crystal/Relic -Fee Split: 25% DAO 75% Shrine Owner -Bonus: +1 Crystal per 10 Forged

Delta Shrines -Cost: 1 Karma Crystals & 100 $CANDLE -Fees: 10 - 100 $CANDLE per Crystal/Relic -Fee Split: 50% DAO 50% Shrine Owner

If this proposal passes, the DAO will move forward with the given configuration for the Alpha Tier and sell 42 Alpha Shrines. 1 Week after the launch of the alpha shrines, the DAO will vote on the configuration of the Beta Shrines. Each lower tier will be configured following the sale of the tier above.
