CIP #13 - Pay the association’s domiciliation and Swiss resident DAO member

Voting ended over 1 year agoSucceeded

—Summary—

The transition to DAO involves the creation of an association in Geneva, Switzerland, managed by Decentral House, of which Matthias Traussnig is the Swiss member.

—Rationale—

The transition to a DAO continues to unfold.

In order to enable financial operations involving a legal entity, an association is being set up in Switzerland. Swiss law requires us to have a member of the association resident in Switzerland.

The association will be hosted in Geneva by "Decentral House" (which will handle mail management and archiving); Mr Matthias Traussnig, legal manager at "Storm Partners", will be our Swiss member. Mr. Traussnig, through his role at Storm Partners, will also be our legal advisor to the association. These operations come at a cost: CHF 2,000 for hosting and $12,000 for Mr. Traussnig, payable in 3 installments. These expenses must be renewed each year.

—Means—

Convert from the POD the amount equivalent to 2 000 CHF and $4 000 and send it to Storm Partners.
