--Rationale--

As our protocol continues to evolve and mature, ensuring the integrity and security of its technical infrastructure is paramount. To this end, we propose the formal recognition of our development company as the exclusive Service Provider for all protocol updates and technical aspects of Convergence. Given the highly sensitive nature of these services, it is crucial that we entrust them to a dedicated and specialized entity that possesses the necessary expertise and commitment to the protocol’s success. This proposal aims to formalize the role and ensure that all future technical interventions are handled by a trusted and competent provider.

The recognition of the development company as the exclusive Service Provider will streamline our operations and enhance the security and reliability of the protocol. This designation will not preclude future votes on the financial aspects of their services; all proposed fees and budgets for specific developments will be subject to community voting.

By recognizing the development company as the official Service Provider:

• The development company’s exclusive role will ensure a high standard of security and consistency in all technical updates and interventions. Their specialized expertise and deep familiarity with the protocol are crucial for safeguarding its integrity and maintaining the reliability of our infrastructure. This dedicated approach will minimize risks and enhance the overall stability of the protocol.

• This CIP is solely intended to formally recognize the development company as the exclusive Service Provider. The financial terms and conditions of their services, if not already determined, will be thoroughly discussed and decided through community voting. This ensures transparency and that the community retains full control over the budget and scope of future developments

This proposal formally recognizes the development company as the exclusive Service Provider for all technical aspects of the Convergence protocol.

While the development company will handle all technical updates, the community will vote on the budgets and fees for specific developments.

The development company will provide regular reports on their activities, progress, and any challenges encountered. This will enhance transparency and keep the community informed.

This recognition will be valid for a period of 12 months from the date of acceptance. At the end of this period, the recognition and designation of the development company as the exclusive Service Provider will be subject to review and renewal through community voting.
