Abstract

This proposed EGP describes the bi-annual budget of the Everclear Community Leaders for H1 of 2026. The Community Leaders of the Everclear ecosystem are tasked with providing necessary functions to the Everclear ecosystem within the areas of community, support, and social media marketing in an effort to help deliver outstanding customer experiences, and strategically grow the protocol.

Motivation

The Everclear Community Leader Sub-DAO is a decentralized, community-governed entity that was approved via voting on Snapshot by the Everclear DAO in February 2024. Along with the governance vote, the responsibility for compensating community contributors and funding community initiatives was shifted into the hands of the Everclear Community Leader Sub-DAO as a decentralized, community-governed entity in the ecosystem.

Rationale

Community Leaders are Core Contributors to the Everclear ecosystem as per the DAO Docs and focus on areas such as user support, marketing, growth, education, and community management. This EGP provides Community Leaders with the funds necessary to continue supporting the Everclear ecosystem.

The Community Leader team receiving fixed payments will consist of 2 Community Leaders.

Deployment of Funds

Following the passing of the previous proposal, the Community SubDAO’s multisig signers were changed to:

  • Ministro (Governance Task Force Lead)
  • Andy (Community Admin)
  • Tommy (Community Admin)

In general, leftover funds will automatically be applied toward compensating community leaders for the upcoming month. Should the DAO reject the proposal, all remaining tokens will be returned to the DAO.

Areas of Focus

The Community Leaders collaborate directly with the Everclear Foundation to refine strategies and elevate execution quality across these activities:

  • Everclear Intern Account on X: Grow @EverclearIntern account into key memetic and educational channel for the Everclear ecosystem (by producing posts, meme content, quote-tweet commentary, and commenting on related discussions). This account plays a vital role in community growth, user retention, and protocol mindshare. We are seeking to accomplish the following targets over the next 6 months:
    • New followers: 150
      • Strategic Cross-Pollination: We are pivoting toward a more integrated interaction model between the main Everclear account and the Intern account. Data from previous months shows that active engagement between the two handles effectively bridges our core audience with new user segments, broadening our overall reach.
      • Value-Centric Content & "Light Alpha": To drive long-term retention, we will focus on communicating the account’s unique value proposition. By collaborating closely with the Marketing and BizDev teams, the Intern account will serve as a source for "light alpha" and small teasers. This establishes the account as a high-signal destination, ensuring users don't just passively consume our content in their timeline and move on.
    • Impressions: 200k
    • Engagements: 9k
    • Likes: 3500
  • Moderation: Active community support on Telegram and Discord to ensure these channels remain well-moderated spaces where members can get fast answers.
    • Have no security breaches or scammed members in our public channels.
    • Ensure automatic filtering of bots/scams is working correctly. There’s no direct or easily obtainable measure for this, but we’ll subjectively evaluate it based on proxy indicators.
  • Intercom Support: Professional user support via Intercom.
    • Provide technical support (in less than 24 working hours) to Everclear’s customers via the ticketing system.

Bi-annual Calculation

Calculations assume an average token price of $0.005395 (30 day VWAP on February 3nd 2026). Following a semester of delivering and exceeding key performance targets, we are proposing a 10% compensation adjustment. This increase aligns our incentives with the increased workload expected and more aggressive growth targets set for the upcoming term. The ask is that the Everclear DAO covers the funding below:

Fixed compensation will be revisited every month and adjusted as necessary. Additionally, the Buffer and Community Treasury funds may be used to cover Community Leadership operational expenses (such as software licenses).

Methodology

On the first day of each month, we will calculate the tokens to be distributed, using the average closing price of the token from the previous 7 days, as listed on Coingecko.

Total Ask

This proposal asks for 7,724,604 CLEAR to use during the first half of 2026. This includes the January 2026 compensation, for which the Community SubDAO does not have remaining tokens to pay for, as these funds will not be asked from the DAO’s emergency multisig. We expect to publish the next proposal by August 2026.

Note: Since oSnap was deprecated, if approved, this proposal will be executed by the Security Council.
