Proposal for Airdrop Collaboration with DAO Partners

Dear Buzzers Community,

Thank you for your unwavering support! Since our inception in late 2021 and the launch of our Beta version in 2023, DAOBase has made significant strides with your help: we’ve mapped over 170,000 DAOs and 6 million governance users, and partnered with more than 400 organizations, establishing ourselves as one of the most comprehensive DAO databases in the decentralized space.

As we prepare for the launch of the DAOBase Token, we’re eager to further engage our community through an airdrop initiative and deepen our collaboration with our long-standing DAO Partners. Today, we’d like to discuss a specific proposal: a targeted airdrop for active DAO Partners on the DAOBase platform, to recognize their contributions to decentralized governance and community building, while encouraging more DAOs to join our ecosystem. Below is our initial plan, and we warmly welcome your feedback and suggestions!

1. Collaboration Background and Initial Plan

We propose allocating a portion of the 5% community airdrop to reward DAOBase DAO Partners who have actively contributed to our platform. Here’s our preliminary framework for eligibility and distribution:

Eligibility Criteria:

• Be part of a DAO listed in the DAOBase “DAO Partners” whitelist.
• Hold tokens of that DAO.
• Have actively participated in governance activities (e.g., submitting proposals, voting, or delegating votes).

Distribution Method:

• Airdrop allocations will be determined based on a combined score of governance activity and token holdings (e.g., number of proposals submitted, votes cast, voting weight, etc.).

Through this mechanism, we aim to reward DAOs that have genuinely contributed to decentralized governance while incentivizing more DAOs and users to engage with the DAOBase ecosystem. We’re keen to hear your thoughts on this approach and any ideas for improvement!

• Community Incentive: This airdrop is intended solely as a community reward and does not constitute investment advice.
• Governance Score Verification: Please ensure your DAO’s on-chain records are accurate and authentic. We reserve the right to disqualify any address found to be manipulating or falsifying data.
• Final Authority: DAOBase retains the final decision-making authority over all aspects of this airdrop. Any updates or changes will be communicated promptly.
