[Roadmap] Full Integration of Plasma Blockchain into BIM Protocol

Summary of the Proposal: This proposal seeks to integrate the Plasma blockchain into BIM Exchange for all major functionalities: Buy, Sell, Swap, Bridge, and future Staking. Plasma is a newly launched blockchain that has already attracted billions in Total Value Locked (TVL) in just a few days and is officially supported by Tether, offering strong credibility and adoption momentum.

The proposal also includes a mechanism to convert all revenues generated from Swap and Bridge operations on Plasma into USDC on the Base blockchain, and transfer them to the DAO treasury. For staking activities, rewards will be distributed in XPL, Plasma’s native token.

Context: Plasma has emerged as a powerful and highly scalable blockchain solution backed by major players like Tether. With over $5 billion in TVL within its first week, Plasma is quickly becoming one of the fastest-growing ecosystems. Its focus on performance, security, and interoperability makes it a highly strategic addition to BIM Exchange.

Integrating Plasma into our protocol aligns with our mission to offer diversified blockchain access, maintain competitive transaction fees, and expand our user base through trusted and high-growth networks.

Proposal Details: We propose the full integration of Plasma on BIM Exchange for the following features:

Buy

Sell

Swap

Bridge

Staking (to be implemented in future updates)

Revenue Management Plan:

All Swap and Bridge revenues from Plasma will be converted to USDC on the Base blockchain and transferred to the DAO treasury wallet.

Staking rewards will be earned and distributed in XPL, with routing to the DAO according to future staking DAO votes.

Voting Options: For – Approve the full integration of the Plasma blockchain across all BIM Exchange functionalities and the proposed revenue mechanism.

Against – Reject the integration of Plasma for now.

Abstain – No opinion.
