Proposal on creating & formatting future DAObnb proposals

PROBLEM: DAObnb lacks a standardized way of bringing proposals to a vote.

SUMMARY OF PROPOSED SOLUTION: Future proposals can be brought up within the DAObnb discord, where it can be discussed and refined by holders. Refined proposal will be sent to DAObnb's snapshot for a vote.

DETAILS OF PROPOSED SOLUTION:

1. By October 31st 2022, Forlane will create a channel in the DAObnb discord server called "DAObnb Proposals". This channel should have the ability for holders to create sub-threads. Any holder can create a sub-thread for a particular issue that they have a proposed solution for. For example, a sub-thread for "B&M contract" would be immediately useful.

2. Any proposal that is presented for discussion in a sub-thread should follow (more or less) the following standardized format:

• The title of the sub-thread should be short and to-the-point (e.g. B&M contract).

Within the sub-thread: • Provide a brief summary of the issue/problem (e.g. DAObnb needs a property management company for it's Cincinnati unit). • Provide a summary of the proposed solution (e.g. B&M are currently the only property mgmt company who has offered the DAO a contract for review: see linked Google doc.). • Provide relevant details to the proposed solution (e.g. B&M scope of work includes the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of any needed subcontractors, including but not limited to cleaning crews, handymen, internet and cable TV service providers. B&M will furnish the DAO with each subcontractors contract within 1 week of hiring that subcontractor. B&M will provide DAO with monthly P&L statements for each unit. B&M rate for aforementioned deliverables is xxxx).

3. Through respectful discussion, the proposal can be refined within the sub-thread. To ensure timely decisions are made, each sub-thread proposal should have a default discussion timeline of 1 WEEK (shorter timelines can be made for more urgent decisions).

4. Within 3 DAYS of the timeline ending, THE HOLDER WHO CREATED THE SUB-THREAD will access the DAObnb snapshot account using this link: https://snapshot.org/#/daobnbs.eth/create/1 and faithfully create a snapshot vote based on the outcome of the discussion in the sub-thread. PLEASE NOTE, the snapshot vote may include multiple options to choose from, for example: • option 1: use B&M on a 6 month contract; • option 2: use B&M on a 12 month contract; • option 3: Don't use B&M. Or, the snapshot vote may include a binary (yes/no) option, for example: • use B&M for property mgmt; • don't use B&M for property mgmt.

5. the proposal in the created snapshot vote should be presented in the following standardized way: • Summarize issue/problem; • Summarize option 1 • Summarize option 2 • Summarize option "x" • Vote casting interface with option 1 through option "x" listed where only 1 option can be selected by each voter/holder (i.e. single choice voting). • the snapshot vote window should be open for 3 DAYS, at which point, the vote will close and the will of the DAO will be finalized.

6. Any proposal that is passed by the snapshot vote will executed by volunteers within the DAObnb community.

7. This proposal ("Proposal on creating & formatting future DAObnb proposals") may itself be amended, as needed, by way of future proposals.
