This proposal seeks to formally ratify daoforanyone.eth as the initial governance venue for the Anyone Protocol ecosystem.
If approved, this Snapshot space will serve as the recognised venue for governance signalling, operational proposals, and the continued decentralization of protocol decision-making.
The Foundation for Anyone has approved the establishment of this governance venue and the administrative controls required for its operation. In the Foundation’s words:
“The Foundation operates as a neutral steward in order to support the ANyONe crypto token and protocol.”
Where valid proposals are approved through this governance process, the Foundation intends to recognise and enforce them to the extent that doing so does not conflict with the constitutional elements, duties, or legal obligations of the Foundation.
The voting power for this DAO will be total staked $ANYONE tokens that are allocated for governance. This is a setting configurable from the Anyone Protocol dashboard which extends the unstake duration, but grants 1 unit of voting power (VP) for every staked token.
For this inaugural proposal, the quorum requirement is set at:
For this proposal to be considered valid, the total voting participation must exceed 1,000,000 VP and the proposal must receive more For voting power than Against.
This proposal is set to remain open for 7 days from publication. The purpose of this extended voting period is to allow sufficient time for eligible participants to register.
The administrator wallet for this Snapshot space has been approved by The Foundation for Anyone and is currently controlled by representatives of the Anyone operating team.
This wallet, and any wallets it explicitly delegates proposal permissions to, shall have authority to create proposals within this governance venue.
This structure is intended to provide a practical initial governance framework while broader participation and proposal rights mature over time.
This proposal is intended as an initial ratification of the governance process, not its final form.
As Anyone governance evolves, it is expected that multiple Snapshot spaces may operate in parallel, with categories separated by importance. Quorum requirements will likely increase over time.
If this proposal is approved, it will establish the initial governance venue from which these future mechanisms can develop.
By voting For, participants approve:
daoforanyone.eth as the initial governance venue for Anyone Protocol
The initial quorum and proposal administration structure
The continued development of Anyone governance under this framework
By voting Against, participants reject the ratification of this governance structure in its current form.
