[DCP-10] Retroactive NFT Membership for existing PRO users

Summary

As we transition to PRO 2.0, it is important to reward early PRO members who utilized and helped shape the product. This reward will be an non-transferrable NFT that will continue to provide members with PRO features even when the requirement to activate PRO changes. The proposal suggests the length that the current PRO members should receive continued PRO features and the name of the NFT reward too.

Motivation

DappRadar is a product that thrives on user engagement and community building. By providing an NFT for existing PRO users, DappRadar hopes to strengthen its community by rewarding their loyalty and encouraging more users to become PRO. The proposal also aims to provide existing PRO users with a unique and exclusive experience, creating a sense of ownership and belonging within the community.

Abstract

As outlined in the Roadmap, as we transition to DappRadar 2.0, we will also implement PRO 2.0 with new additional features for PRO members and a change in the activation requirements. The non-transferrable NFT called the “PRO OG NFT” will serve as an incentive for existing PRO users who meet specific criteria encouraging them to remain part of DappRadar community and will allow them to enjoy the new incoming features for a select period of days.

A Snapshot of current PRO Members was completed on 12.04.23, and it included 5,686 accounts. The NFTs will be available to these specific accounts and distributed through the Galxe platform. By minting these NFTs, these accounts will gain access to all new and old PRO features. This benefit will last for a specific duration after PRO 2.0 is launched. The relevant information will soon be shared on our relevant social media channels.

This Forum proposal decided that the chosen option for the duration of PRO will be:

> Offering the NFTs that provides 3 months of PRO

> PRO OG

Costs

• Only current PRO users who meet specific criteria will be eligible to receive the non-transferrable “PRO OG NFT”, which excludes those who are not PRO or do not meet the requirements.
• The proposal may require additional development and resources to create and distribute the NFT, which could potentially delay other features or initiatives.
