To my knowledge Linked Wearables don't cost the DAO a great deal to implement and any funds generated from this project will be returned to the DAO.

Aaron does Waifumon giveaways daily, and while Waifumon are not my cup of tea, his commitment to helping the DCL community grow is hard to question.

Also, the Dinos for these Linked wearables are cute and one will have ice theming and be airdropped to $ICE holders.
