Background:
Currently, the allotment of chips received upon checking in;
Any 1 wearable: 3000 For any additional wearable: +500 Maximum with any 5 stack of wearables: 5000
Considering the stacking multiplier update along with challenge and leaderboard updates, I propose we make the daily chips received dynamic in order to improve both gameplay feel, add additional incentive to upgrade and stack other than increasing ice earn potential, and close the gap on the variance of chip value.
Proposal:
I propose we switch to a new model for daily chip allotment, where chips received are determined by both wearable level as well as the number of stacked items upon checking in, combined with a reduction in the base allotment of chips.
Rational:
After exploring various models and variables, I believe this would be an ideal solution to address the topics stated in this proposal. This includes a reduction in the base amount of chips received in order to also see a smaller value impact from a single level 1 check in losing 3,000 chips to a stacked level 5 check in, as an example. Along with further incentivizing upgrades and stacking wearables for both delegates and player-owners.
Dynamic chip allotment:
Minimum check in with a single level 1 wearable: 1400 chips For each upgrade, +100 chips For each stacked item, +400 chips (cumulative for multiple items/levels)
This, in combination with the hard challenge proposal that was passed, should induce a more realistic and entertaining gameplay experience while also mimicking the variety of bankrolls and buy-ins that one can typically expect while sitting at a poker table. IE a level 5 has a higher “buy-in” than a level 1. Images attached show examples of how this dynamic model would upon check-in;
