[Decentraland DAO] MetaTrekkers Metaverse Development, A Multi-disciplinary Platform to Onboard the Biggest Arts & Entertainment

Dear Decentral Games community,

We, MetaTrekkers, come to you with a proposal designed to strengthen our relationship and bring significant benefits to both brands.

This proposal is to use Decentral Games voting power and benefit the whole Decentralad community. You can also read in the proposal how the grant will be used to further develop our projects and contribute value to the community.

In relation with this, allow us to remind you what we’ve been doing together in the past and the value of our collaboration:

1.Venice Music concert This event has been the cornerstone of our collaboration because, from the very beginning we’ve shared the tasks and effort behind onboarding the performing artists and their fanbase. With your help we’ve created an easy, yet comprehensive “flash webinar” where the first locations to be presented to all the new metaverse users were the Decentral Games venue and the MetaTrekkers club. Following this 3-day long onboarding session, we’ve seen that almost 70% of the attendees had expressed the desire to be onboarded into the Ice Poker feature, resulting in an increased number of visitors and users for Decentral Games (especially Ice Poker).

The BeatTrekkers Series As you may have noticed, the BeatTrekkers competition is taking place as we speak, with the latest DJ battle being the event with the highest number of attendees on (our) record – almost 400 unique users. This is another event where we’ve partnered and gave exclusive streaming rights to Decentral Games for the whole duration of the series, as each battle draws in more and more users. In the long term, those exclusive streaming rights translate into increased traffic, exposure and interaction for Decentral Games and MetaTrekkers as a brand.

Future plans For MetaTrekkers it’s obvious that the relationship with Decentral Games is something that can birth amazing opportunities so, we went ahead and brainstormed a few more initiatives that we think can benefit both our projects. For now, we won’t get into elaborate details, but it’s safe to say we’re developing more series of events that will be unique in the Decentraland metaverse, where we’ll be onboarding big names from related industries and giving them a platform to create attractive content exclusive to Decentral Games and MetaTrekkers community members.

Here's a sneak preview of our plans to come: DG will be the only venue (besides MetaTrekkers) where names like Yu-kai Chou (the godfather of gamification) and Texas Blockchain Council will host their seminars and talks Together with DG, in the future we hope on creating an exclusive wearable that can transcend the virtual metaverse and offer the holders exclusive access to live features and rewards, beyond its obvious use in the metaverse
