We are about to go live with 3rd party games (e.g. slots, crash, plinko, blackjack, and roulette) on Bag.win. By next week (Week of July 29th), we will have volume leaderboards similar to what we have in our Decentraland casino today.
Today, we spend approximately $16,000/month on metaverse volume leaderboards in Decentraland across the daily ($200/day) and weekly ($2,500/weekly) leaderboards to incentive engagement.
Starting July 29th:
-- End Decentraland Daily Volume Leaderboard ($6,000/mon savings) -- Reduce Decentraland Weekly Volume Leaderboard to $2,000/week ($2,000/mon savings) -- Use the above $8,000/mon savings to fund $2,000/week bag.win Weekly Leaderboard
The Bag.win leaderboard would operate as follows:
-- Each week, 5 raffle winners will get $400 each -- Raffle tickets are earned in proportion to volume -- Raffles will be drawn live on stream
Does not reduce total volume rewards.
Our development efforts this year have been almost entirely focused on our own platform, Bag.win. Over time, it will probably make sense to disproportionally incentivize our own native platform, but, to start, we will split our spend evenly between the two platforms.
The raffle structure will be a test. It's fun and adds some variance... someone with low volume still has a chance to win big! Additionally, based on our market research, the structure is fairly common:
