Adding a third SHINE buy-in to arcade.

Voting ended almost 3 years agoFailed

With arcade well underway since a few months, the platform evolved into something we can all be very happy with. Smooth gameplay, the amazing emote collection and emoticons to spam at the tables all make the gameplay an absolute blast.

That said, there are still things we can definitely improve upon. For example, some days we see much less traffic than other days. I, and many people of the arcade community are of the opinion if we add a third buy in option we should see a boost in traffic.

How?

3 shine permanent 9 shine (up for debate)

  • rotating game mode as is now (15, 30, 60, 99)

With an added middle ground, we will give players more option as what to play. If a 30 shine player cannot enjoy a 30 shine quickly enough, then that player perhaps will try 9 shine. Or in turn, if a 3 shine wants to move up in stakes but finds 30 shine to steep of a jump, then that player can attempt to climb up the ranks through a 9 shine middle ground. The buy in is up for debate, and so is the structure of the SNG but perhaps this forum proposal can spark a discussion and see what others think.

But player liquidity?

I think 30 shine and above are usually kickstarted by regulars (leaderboard grinders) sitting and waiting for the table to fill. If a 30 shine player wants to play 30 shine, they can simply register and wait for a table to fill or perhaps even add a 9 shine while they wait for 30 shine to load up. The same can be said for regulars, they can still wait at 30 shines but also add 9 shine to not waste their time waiting for tables to fill.

So the arcade community wants to invite you all to discuss this, what do you people think about this? Are there any cons? Lets talk about it Its made by all of us.
