Background
Following a passed governance proposal (#bafkrei), we began distributing Challenge Mode player-owners’ and guild owners’ daily ICE earnings as 20% Banked ICE and 80% ICE.
Banked ICE is currently convertible to Arcade Wearables, Shine and All Access Wearables. Additionally, we plan to offer Banked ICE gameplay in our Metaverse Roulette Blackjack, Slots, and Poker games very soon, giving Banked ICE another use case within our ecosystem.
Proposal
Allow wearable owners to choose their Banked ICE / ICE rewards split from the following options:
Rationale
Many wearable owners have requested the option to increase their Banked ICE rewards percentage and we expect this number to grow as we add additional utility to Banked ICE. The variable solution outlined in this proposal allows wearable owners who want more Banked ICE to receive more without forcing it on all wearable owners.
Additionally, this proposal would reduce our daily unlocked ICE emissions, further improving our ICE Burn-to-earn ratio.
