Governance voting power for staking or holding DCB

Dear members of the Decubate community,

Today is a momentous day as we officially launch our governance system. As we move forward, we want to ensure that our community has a voice in how we shape our platform. We believe that a transparent and fair governance structure that reflects our community’s values is critical to our success. Therefore, we are excited to present three options for how voting power will be calculated and invite you to vote on the one that you believe is best for Decubate.

Option 1: allows only staked DCB to count towards voting power, ensuring that only the most committed members have a say in decision-making.

Option 2: recognizes the value of holding DCB in a wallet and allows both staked and held DCB to count towards voting power.

Option 3: strikes a balance between staked and held DCB, giving half voting power to held DCB and full voting power to staked DCB.

We believe that all of these options have their own strengths and limitations, and we encourage you to weigh the pros and cons before making your decision. Regardless of which option you choose, we want to assure you that your vote counts and will help shape the future of our platform.

In addition, to show our appreciation for your participation, we will be giving away 100,000 DCB to a random voter.
