Toonz Exclusive Raffles

Mission Statement:

To create a fun experience for the Toonz community, encourage members to hold, and give everyone an opportunity to accumulate more Toonz assets.

Intro:

We, as Degen Toonz are an exclusive community. We want to provide utility to members. What better way than to allow holders only to participate & win prizes - while at the same time supporting and growing the Toonz Community DAO.

Solution = TOONZ RAFFLES!

Here are the details...

1. Only Degen Toonz Holders (OG/Detonated) are able to participate in raffles.

2. The Toonz in the wallet being used to enter a raffle, must not be listed for sale.

3. Raffles to be held every two weeks to start. If popular, we can increase this to weekly, based upon the success of the proposal.

4. Prizes will be predominantly Toonz ecosystem. Occasional special draws for other projects or Eth will be considered.

5. We will build-in the ability to do periodic free giveaways based upon loyalty. If this proves to be popular, we will have user participation data so that (for example) we could do a free giveaway every 6 weeks. This is if it is financially feasible to do so.

6. Basic Raffle Structure

Each ticket will cost 1/100th of the prize being offered. Each person can purchase a max of 40 tickets. Max amount of tickets available per raffle TBD.

To make this fun, fair and sustainable, the financial gain for the DAO for each raffle will be to earn 1.5x the price of the asset. Once we have participation data and feedback from the community, we can adjust this by means of increasing/decreasing the number of tickets per draw and/or the max. amount of entries per person.

Example:

The value of the prize is 1 Eth.

• The individual ticket price will be .01 E (1/100th of the value of the prize).

• To ensure a minimum profit of 1.5E, the total amount earned from ticket sales should be at least 2.5E (2500 tickets * .01 per ticket).

• The maximum number of tickets that any single person can purchase is 40 (1.6% of the total number of tickets sold).

• Each participant can purchase up to 40 tickets.

• The odds of winning the prize are calculated by dividing the total number of tickets purchased by all participants, by the number of tickets purchased by a single participant. The maximum number of tickets that a participant can purchase is 40, so the odds of winning the prize are highest for a participant who buys all 40 tickets. Their odds of winning the prize would be 40/2500 or 1.6%.

• In the scenario where there aren't enough raffle entries to cover the cost of the NFT, there could be an "Overtime" period. If this happens consistently, the community would need to decide upon a more permanent solution (lower the entry price, end the project, open it to outsiders, etc.).

Please note: The DAO Committee, along with the proposal owner and developer, will make every effort to follow this as described - however changes may occur to better serve our community. In the event that a major change is required, the Committee will call a Town Hall and discuss it with the Community.

COSTS:

3.5 Eth (+/-): Development of Raffle system including programming, hosting of site, and maintenance contract for a year.

35 Eth: Used to purchase prizes for Raffles throughout the year.

Conclusion

The point of this proposal to create an exclusive opportunity for people who have been loyal to the project to get opportunities everyone on the outside wish they could have. It comes along with the two added bonuses of making some money for our DAO, while also creating a consistent purchasing cycle that benefits the Toonz project, and every Toonz holder.
