The ToonzDao has been approached by holder BigWyno, to become a title sponsor for the Cryptic Cypher multi-community Web 3 event being held on March 23rd in Los Angeles, CA.
The event spans a few days, and will offer the Toonz community an opportunity enjoy a great party and shows, and as well as hang with fellow Toonz and other web3 communities.
In addition, the event is specifically tailored to expose non-web3 people to the NFT world by way of Pay Per View, YouTube, and social media exposure.
The organizers have secured a great lineup of talent that each have significant followings in their niches, from renowned Battle Rappers, to the Team USA Breakdancing troop, to some of the most famous mural artists in the country.
These artists and performers will not only be promoting the event but will provide content specifically for the title sponsors for projects and communities to use.
For our holders who want to attend the event in person - being a title sponsor allows us to give some perks, a VIP section with bottle service, gift bags, after parties, etc. (details to be finalized). If you know the Toonz, you have a good idea of how they excel at IRL events and it will undoubtedly be memorable.
For more details on artists and sponsorship, please see the CrypticCypher pdf file in our Discord -> dao-documents channel.
The cost of being a title sponsor for this event is $10,000 USD (+/- 3.9 Eth as of this proposal).
An additional 2 Eth reserve is also being asked to use for the production of media, giveaways, and misc. expenses to ensure that all Toonz holders have a great time at the event - and that the project/brand shines in the best possible light. This additional amount may or may not be used and is added here so that we do not have to re-propose or vote again. Receipts will be made available upon request and in a follow-up review document.
The total ask of this proposal is a max-spend of 6 Eth.
Do you agree with allocating a max. of 6Eth for this proposal as outlined?
(Please note: Voting results of this proposal will be tallied on a 1 wallet = 1 vote basis, and NOT weighted for the amount of assets each wallet holds.)
