Investment: 5 AVAX into $shady

Voting ended almost 3 years agoSucceeded

Hello

Putting out a proposal for the following: 5 $avax investment into Slime Shadies via market buying $shady

Slime Shadies is an NFT/gaming project on Avalanche moving towards a casino style gameplay. Their game is based on the classic Worms game, which you may have played if youre as old as I am. Turn based matches, where you (as a snail) use various weapons and tactics to kill the other players. last man standing wins. This game is playable here: https://slime-shadies.web.app/ (highly recommend using a burner wallet for this game as its in beta still).

Why we should invest

  • They are launching a HUGE update, which will allow users to bet on themselves in each game and win the $avax from the other players. For example, 4 players put in 1 avax each, winner takes all minus a protocol fee (10%). This protocol fee will get paid out to $shady stakers, exact details tbd.
  • Fully diluted market cap is only $7,800. Decent upside once the update is launched. If they can generate a large number of users, then I foresee 50-100X. If they can start generating a ton of yield for stakers, then this number starts getting into the 1000-10000X. But this is highly unlikely.
  • Deflationary token through burn mechanisms and staking.
  • no more emissions

The reason I think 5 avax is sufficient is that market cap is tiny, likelihood of success isnt super high, but I believe we can make a pretty decent return even if just riding the hype that will hopefully come. Its a gamble but I feel the R:R is worth it here.
