How Do We Handle DAO Board Replacements?

We have a DAO Board seat that needs to be replaced, but since this is a new event for us, we wanted to ask you how we should proceed.

The board feels suitably prepared to select a replacement if permitted to do so - given our experience we know what it takes to be effective in the position now.

If the DAO would prefer to do otherwise, we can as before hold a formal election event where we seek applications for the seat, and take it through the whole voting process again.
