Burn Proposal of the DERI tokens
The DERI community is proposing to change the current burning mechanism.
The current situation
80% of the transaction fee will be collected as “protocol fee” to regularly buy DERI from the secondary market to be burned, i.e. send them to the mining vault.
The proposal
Given the recent market conditions, we - the DERI community, believe that we should burn DERI permanently, and remove them from the circulation FOREVER.
Option 1: Burn and remove from circulation FOREVER
Option 2: The status quo, recycle to mining vault
