Leadership Vote #2

Hello Kingdom. As you all know, we started a vote on Saturday to determine my role moving forward with the project. This was done to ensure that the community is empowered to make decisions about the future and direction of the project.

In the announcement posted earlier, I said that we would be restarting that vote in order for people to hear the Round Table we hosted and review all available information. That is what we are doing now.

We heard the feedback in the Round Table that some were confused about why I would even consider or open a vote like this, and were offended that I would even propose it. I can unequivocally say that the reason behind this vote is in the spirit of decentralization, which I am a huge proponent of. I want the community to make the choices and be heard.

I want to make something clear. I am not looking for a reason or way to leave the project. DeFi Kingdoms is my dream, and I am so proud and honored every day to be here, building this, working with this team, and being a part of this community. I’ve said many times before, and I will reiterate here, that DFK is here for the long-term, and I am committed to continuing to serve the project and community in the best way possible, again, for the long-term.

Ultimately, the team is here to serve the community, and if I am to remain, and be a leader, that should be the community's decision. Therefore, we are reopening this vote for 24 hours so that your voices can be heard.
