DIP028 - Proposal for Committing to Ethereum POS Network

Summary

We are calling for the dForce community to commit to Ethereum POS Chain over other forked POW chain post the merge.

Motivation

Ethereum's set of upgrades, which will transition the chain from proof-of-work (POW) consensus layer to the proof-of-stake (POS) consensus layer, aka 'the merge', is believed to be rapidly approaching a go-live date.

After the transition, the dForce core team and community will not allocate resources to supporting any forks of Ethereum. dForce protocols will only support Ethereum POS chains. We believe that most members of the DeFi ecosystem will also focus on Ethereum POS chain and have already seen announcements from major infrastructure providers indicating as such.
