CAR #050: Orca | Source
In this 50th Community Approval Request (CAR), the DIA DAO community will be voting to validate Orca as a data source for the DIA Platform. DIA’s direct integration into centralised and decentralised marketplaces such as Orca enables a broad and highly granular and customizable data and oracle offering for dApps.
Orca aims to enable low-fee, near-instant token swaps using an automated market maker (AMM) model. On the exchange, users supply tokens to “liquidity pools” and algorithms set market prices based on supply and demand.
