CAR #037: PancakeSwap | Source
In this 37th Community Approval Request (CAR), the DIA DAO community will be voting to validate PancakeSwap as a data source for the DIA Platform. DIA’s direct integration into centralised and decentralised marketplaces such as PancakeSwap enables a broad and highly granular and customizable data and oracle offering for dApps.
PancakeSwap is an AMM and a DeFi application that allows users to exchange tokens, providing liquidity via farming and earning fees in return. It launched in September 2020 and is a DEX for swapping BEP20 tokens on BSC. PancakeSwap uses an automated market maker model where users trade against a liquidity pool. These pools are filled by users who deposit their funds into the pool and receive liquidity provider (LP) tokens in return.
