The preliminary vote is Snapshot confirmation that the idea is quality enough to proceed to final vote. Sometimes a preliminary vote may feel redundant with final vote, but we need to make sure the idea resonates with the entire community.

What is going on?

This proposal suggests that the Dino Babies in Space Community Wallet should sponsor monthly community games that have eth and Egg prizes.

What kind of games?

To make sure that there is a fair balance between games of skill and rewarding playing the on-chain Egg Game, we will be offering weekly and monthly rewards for community-hosted tournaments of regular off chain games, and prizes for users that hit certain variables during a month of Egg Game.

Examples of Egg Game contests could be

• Largest theft
• Smallest theft above 0
• Closest theft to the randomly chosen number (closest to the pin)

Examples of off-chain games

Our community loves video games - they love multiplayer games. We will run at least one multiplayer video game tournament monthly and offer prizes for the top player(s) while also at least one prize for the most inspired or fan-favorite player. Not all prizes this way will be completely skill based - Being a member of the community is rewarded as well.

Why now?

Phase 2 of Dino Babies in Space is all about enhancing the community experience. Now that we are in production, our goal is to have constant reasons to check-in and be part of the community you've helped build.

How will this help the community

This proposal will boost our DSC and Twitter and attract more community to become active and also promote the Dino Babies project. If we get more engagement and active users after one month, plus see new community members buying Pirates to play the game we can see it as successful.

What would this cost?

We imagine that running on-chain and off-chain tournaments would require about 0.7e/month in prizes.

What does execution look like?

If this proposal passes through the final vote, Mori will be a games master who decides on the number of games and prizes distributed monthly. He will have an upper budget of 0.7e to distribute and after a game is completed can request it from the community wallet.
