Note on Preliminary Votes

The preliminary vote is Snapshot confirmation that the idea is quality enough to proceed to final vote. Sometimes a preliminary vote may feel redundant with final vote, but we need to make sure the idea resonates with the entire community.

What is going on?

I am proposing that the DAO hires a muralist to paint a mural with a Dino Babies theme. Coolman’s Universe, an NFT project, has already done this and by doing so had a news article written about the mural and their project. https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/speshie-nft-mural-red-room-vancouver

When I was in Miami in January I personally saw a ON1 Force NFT pfp mural at a hotel and thought is was so cool to see NFTs in the real world. just like with the Dino Babies show we are creating, this would be another way to do that.

I believe we can make this a fun event on top of it being a publicity stunt. We could have some of our favorite community member’s Dinos/Pirates as part of the mural, and we could have Matt draft up a few different mural ideas that the community would choose from.

This mural would bring a large amount of community excitement and engagement. It would also bring a large amount of attention to our project. Going to see the Dino Babies mural would surely be on my bucket list!

Where would this mural be located?

As far as location goes, this is where I will leave it up for the Dino Team to decide.

How does this match the mission of the community fund?

This follows Dino Babies vision of bringing NFT art into the real world.

How does it help our members?

This benefits our members by bringing them a fun chain of events that will lead to Dino Babies being in the public eye.

What does execution look like?

If this proposal passes through the final vote. A series of other votes will need to occur as well as actions by the team

• The team will need to find and hire a muralist
• Matt works with the community to design the mural
• The community will vote on 2-3 mural concepts from Matt.
• The next step would be finding and securing a location for the mural.

Considerations

• Security the space, the permits and hiring the muralist will cost between 7e-15e
• This proposal will begin a series of other proposals to finalize designs and execution
• Location sourcing may take months

What you are voting on

This proposal is a simple approval vote. You are voting on if you approve the DAO spending on a Dinobabies mural. The next steps of design and location will come after approval.
