Doodle ID for Kudos: #6420
Discourse: https://forum.doodles.app/t/doodles-activations-contests-funding-doodles-dust-tip-jar/1962
Proposal:
- Allocate max of 50 ETH, or
- Do not allocate
Rationale:
- A starting budget to fund community activations, activities, contests, dust, etc.
- A starting budget to also fund $DOODLE from NFTx to use as “Doodlebank Dust,” a tip jar system used for community members involved in the development and use of Doodlebank and those who actively contribute to the community.
** 1 Doodle will be purchased at the current floor of Open Sea (when funds are distributed) and used for Doodlebank Dust. Remaining budget will be kept in the community-interests budget.
** Any request for usage of either Doodlebank Dust or the community-interests budget must follow the formats described here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1UwtIy2vMNBKBav8PEWqcuPSAj_yCeZH8RvC-S924CE8/edit?usp=sharing
** Any requests made will be approved by Mushy, the mod team at the time of the request, as well as proposal writer, Ayhth. The individuals approving requests and requirements around requests are subject to change if necessary and interested contributors may reach out to Ayhth and Mushy.
Timeline: Allocated budget and $DOODLE from NFTx will be kept in the wallet controlled by Doodles’s Project Manager (Community), Mushy, and will stay there until requests are approved.
Goal: Expand the possible uses of Doodlebank with experimentation focused on appreciating and celebrating the community. As the team moves forward and hopes for a decentralized Doodlebank, this will serve as a stepping stone to allow more out-of-the-box community uses.
Cost: Total of 50 ETH
- 10~ ETH allocated for a Doodle to be submitted into NFTx.
- 40~ ETH flexibly allocated for community proposed activations, activities, contests, dust, etc.
Accountability: Funds will be under the custodian of the Doodles’s Project Manager (Community), Mushy. Funds will be kept in a brand new wallet within a ledger.
Voting Info:
- Quorum (Duffel Bags): 15%
