Example of Weighted Voting

Voting ended almost 3 years agoSucceeded

The Doodle Watch vote will be using Weighted Voting.

In Weighted Voting, a voter may split their voting allocation (amount of Doodles they own) amongst any number of choices, or keep them all to one choice.

Examples shown in this vote are:

  • A holder with multiple Doodles, splitting up their voting power equally amongst options #1-3. (10 Doodles total, inputting 10 on all 3 options)
  • A holder with one Doodle, splitting up their voting power equally amongst options #4-5. (1 Doodle total, inputting 1 on all 2 options)
  • A holder with one Doodle, using their voting power on option #6. (1 Doodle total, inputting 1 on 1 option)
  • Option #7 receiving no votes.

Notes:

  • You are only able to allocate the amount of Doodles you own or have delegated to you. For example, a holder with 10 Doodles total can split their allocation of 10 votes, but cannot allocate 11. (will receive an error)
  • You will always be voting with all your Doodles. For example, a holder with 10 Doodles will still use all 10 to vote even if they only allocate 1.
