DoorDAO Voting Rewards Proposal

Voting ended about 2 years agoSucceeded

This is a proposal to use part of the existing and already approved budget to reward DoorDAO members who actively participate in voting.

Every month, 0.3 ETH from the previously approved "Bounty" budget will be distributed among those who vote, with no caps on individual rewards.

The more you participate, the more you earn.

That should boost active participation and decision-making.

Budget Allocation

  • Use of Existing Funds: Redirect 0.3 ETH per month from the already approved Dework.xyz Bounty budget of 0.42 ETH. Dework.xyz - DoorDAO Task Management & Bounty Program

This allocation balances the need for incentivizing voting while keeping some funds for other bounties.

Reward Distribution Mechanism

  • Proportional Rewards: Distribute the monthly rewards pool proportionally among active voters. The more a member participates in voting, the larger their share of the rewards.
  • No Individual Caps: There will be no cap on individual rewards. High participation directly correlates with higher rewards, incentivizing active involvement.
  • Eligibility Criteria: Participation in voting and decision-making processes on Snapshot.org and through Gnosis Safe transaction approvals. Excludes payout transactions to prevent skewing the system.

Implementation and Oversight

  • Integration with Existing Systems: Utilize current tools like Snapshot.org, Dework.xyz, Gnosis Safe for tracking participation.

Timeline

  • Immediate Implementation: The rewards program will commence immediately following approval of this proposal, with the first rewards distribution based on participation in the subsequent voting cycle.
