GM Dope DAO
DopeLabs 3.0 is here again, this time we propose some adjustments to improve the practicality of the process.
Timeframe:
We feel as though 6 month terms are still working well but we note that it can present difficulty when trying to manage Members availability to contribute. In order to give some level of flexibility, we propose that the term includes the ability to appoint new Members by unanimous DopeLabs decision if the need and opportunity arises. For example, we are currently trying hard to recruit an in-house Dev with Cairo and Dojo skills. If we are successful this would allow us to add such a person into DopeLabs without having to go through the whole DIP process. The same could be said if a current Member needs to step away for any reason, or if a Member cannot commit exactly at this point but hopes to be able to in a few months, these situations could be managed in a similar way.
Hours:
The flexible, scalable hours system works well but in some instances there are Members who have periods of higher intensity. The recent expansion of the Diffusion hours, specifically Richblks’ increase, will stay extant but we propose that all other positions will have the ability, if needed, to scale up to 60 hours per months to account for busy periods. We are anticipating an increased level of activity once we have games live later in the year.
Positions:
The names below are incumbents who are prepared to continue. But of course this is the opportunity for any new Members willing and able, to contest such spots.
Diffusion - Richblck, Cyber, Mrfax and M1.
Operations - Spartan. Slasher is taking some time away from DopeLabs commitments at this time with the hope to possibly return in some capacity at a later time.
Protocol - Tani and Sal continue alongside Mazzi who will remain as the lead administrator for Liquidity and Treasury.
Engineers - Bort stays on and as mentioned above we are actively scouting for more Developer assistance.
Funding:
This proposal will seek to top up the DopeLabs multisig by 5M $Paper.
