DIP-69 StarkNet briq Hustler Collection

Mrfax and I propose that we build a collection of 250 unique DOPEWARS 3D Hustlers on briq, see https://briq.construction/

briq is a NFT ‘matter’ building application running on StarkNet Mainnet. They recently released a very successful collection called ‘Ducks Everywhere’, see https://briq.construction/product/ducks_everywhere briq works similarly to a construction game; anything built with briq is an NFT (called a set). If you disassemble your set you get your briqs back and you can build something new. This allows for the building of highly composable assets very easily.

The idea is that we collect input from the community about what hustlers we create. For example, many Members might want their unique Hustler to be recreated and available for purchase. We will allocate a portion of the collection, beginning at 50-100 depending on interest, available for Members to create their hustler on SwapMeet for Mrfax to recreate on briq. See below examples of what this might look like:

We will make approximately 25 special characters. There are some awesome characters that have grown from DOPELORE like the legendary Silky Ledger. Other characters might look like the examples below:

The possibilities are exciting, we could do a StarkNet Hustler, the Godfather, Tony Montana, Wu Tang Clan, or notable Crypto people like the Vitalik Hustler. The community can also provide input on the development of special characters.

The remainder of the collection will be generated by Mrfax. With the collection complete, these NFTs would live on StarkNet, in their own collection contract.

Nuts and Bolts: • briq will take 20% of revenue to set this all up and facilitate the auction. The sales will take place on MintSquare https://mintsquare.io/starknet • Project creators will take 75% of revenue. • The proposal would be constructed on the basis that 5% of revenue is given back to the DAO as per the Minimum requirement in the DOPE DAO Operating Agreement. • This project is not designed to be a massive revenue generator, hence the lowest percentage return. The collection, if it sold out would mostly just cover costs. Mint price will be set at 0.05 ETH. If it sells out that is 12.5 ETH with 20% to briq and 5% to the DAO. Which gives 9.375 ETH or at today’s price $14,700.00 total. These briq Hustlers are quite intensive to make and will occupy Mrfax for approximately 330 hours to build. There will be another estimated 40 hours of administration to get this project complete. Doing the math you can see that this is less than $40 per hour, with no guarantee the project will sell out. The project itself would be cost free for the DAO. • The goal of this project would be more of a fun collaboration with briq and StarkNet that could drive some awareness. We have a strong connection with StarkNet and it would be great to do a project like this that we could use to promote DOPEWARS and briq simultaneously. As you all know StarkNet has a very large builders community. We are an Open Forum Builders platform so it would be great for us if we could attract some people to build. DOPEWARS is pixels and briq is blocks of NFT matter, a great fit! As you can see the product Mrfax can produce is DOPE. • Royalties would be split three ways between DOPE DAO, briq and Project creators. We can write a contract to ensure this is the case.

The Ducks Everywhere collection had good engagement and sold out at the auction. They had a pre-auction allow list sale for people who participated on the Goerli test network. A pre-sale for the StarkNet OG’s. I propose that we include the option of having a pre-auction allow list sale of 50 briq Hustlers available only for DOPEWARS OG holders. Then the auction will go public.

Mrfax could, in the future, develop these briq Hustlers to have corresponding Sprite sheets making it possible that a Developer could grab these unique Hustlers and drop them into a game, or games, think DOPEWARS MMO and Worldwide Webb. The future possibility exits to utilise them in 3D projects like decentraland and sandbox with the appropriate animation.
