Save the Congo rainforests by outbidding oil companies 🌎

Voting ended over 3 years agoSucceeded

CONTEXT

We have 72 hours to save Congo's rainforests! 🚨

Oil companies are preparing to buy up pristine rainforests for drilling and destruction in a flash auction. We need to show the government that land conservation is more valuable than oil extraction.

We're organizing a crowdfunding effort to participate in these land auctions. The more money we raise, the more land we can protect 🌱

HOW THIS WORKS

When you vote, you’ll be given an option to pledge a percentage of the $USDC in your wallet while the rest is abstained. Note that this will not withdraw funds from your wallet, and you do need $USDC to vote. Every vote is a pledge to contribute to this cause, and a powerful signal of what we’re willing to pay to protect this land.

JOIN US

ConstitutionDAO proved to the world how effective viral crowdfunding for communally owned property could be by raising $47 million for the US Constitution. Let's leverage that same power to save the planet, starting with Congo's rainforests. Together we can prove to the world how powerful decentralized communities can be when united around a common cause.

Let's show the world how much we value our natural wonders ✊
