This is a follow-up to the previous proposal, with more assets added: https://snapshot.org/#/dydxgov.eth/proposal/0xf18fef845ef6820243d77b518cdf7c03820c1199e88c375548062d06a8bf0e0c

Summary

We propose adding the following assets to the Starkware Priority Timelock Executor:

  1. ApeCoin (APE) Motivation: Since launching, APE has been very actively traded across multiple perpetual exchanges, with strong retail demand for NFT related assets. 24h Perpetual Volumes: $515M

  2. Stepn (GMT) Motivation: Stepn has been widely popular among retail and non-crypto native users, attracting immense trading volumes across spot and perp venues. 24h Perpetual Volumes: $2,200M

  3. Fantom (FTM) Motivation: Although not as recent to the market, Fantom remains an L1 challenger with consistent volumes and developments that we would benefit from capturing. 24h Perpetual Volumes: $560M

  4. Axie Infinity (AXS) Motivation: Representing the gaming side of our universe, AXS has also captured a ton of retail flow with high volumes and developments. 24h Perpetual Volumes: $660M

  5. Optimism (OP) Chaos Labs is in the process of adding this asset. Motivation: Having just recently launched, OP is experiencing heightened interest and volume as markets adopt this new asset. We think it’s important for dYdX to be a part of this adoption. 24h Perpetual Volumes: $265M

  6. Waves (WAVES) Motivation: Waves is part of the building layer for blockchain technology with consistently high trading volumes across exchanges. 24h Perpetual Volumes: $650M

  7. Gala (GALA) Motivation: A popular gaming platform, GALA captures a ton of trading interest for the growing web3 gaming space. 24h Perpetual Volumes: $600M

  8. The Sandbox (SAND) Motivation: Another growing gaming platform with additional NFT applications built-in, SAND is also actively traded across perp markets. 24h Perpetual Volumes: $440M

  9. Decentraland (MANA) Motivation: Among the first to tackle VR on blockchain, Decentraland has remained among the most popular metaverse with active token trading. 24h Perpetual Volumes: $400M

  10. Shiba Inu (1000SHIB) Motivation: Although the initial hype has died off, Shiba is still actively traded across perp markets. This asset will follow the market standard of 1000 SHIB minimum orders. 24h Perpetual Volumes: $300M

  11. Theta Network (THETA) Motivation: Theta is tackling the Video streaming space of blockchain with promising technology. 24h Perpetual Volumes: $270M

  12. Reserve Rights (RSR) Motivation: RSR serves as the stability mechanism for the Reserve stablecoin, a growing payment protocol. 24h Perpetual Volumes: $185M

  13. Zilliqa (ZIL) Motivation: Although a bit older than the other tokens, ZIL is still actively traded as an alternative L1. 24h Perpetual Volumes: $150M

  14. VeChain (VET) Motivation: VeChain is attempting to tackle real-world problems through it's L1 smart contract platform with active trading. 24h Perpetual Volumes: $105M

  15. Ethereum Name Service (ENS) Motivation: ENS recently launched its token for the wallet naming service. 24h Perpetual Volumes: $100M

These assets have been reviewed by the New Asset Listing group, and received positive feedback from market makers and community members. Please review the assets using the Chaos Labs tool here: https://dydx.chaoslabs.xyz/asset-listing

If approved:

  • A DIP will be submitted to add these 15 assets to the Starkware Priority Timelock Executor. It also signals community belief that dYdX Trading Inc. should prioritize listing these assets.

Should these assets be added to dYdX?
