The game mechanics are not working well; the game only creates inflation, and there is no supply burning, as was stated prior to game launch. In my opinion, the proposal to change the game mechanics to make it easier and less risky killed the game and should be revoked or at least revised to make the game sustainable in the long run and reward players instead.
Stopping the killing for some time would allow us to find a solution to improve the game and its economics to stop this falling knife we have been in for months now. so we can find a way to keep the token burning while the game is running, instead of ruining us all with hyperinflation.
I propose to stop animal killing for some time and encourage all animal holders, community members, and people on the team to use this time to put the DAO funds to good use, allocating the spending for it, and find a way to reverse the current tendency. Instead of having no activity and letting the project slowly die because of sell pressure added by the effects of the first proposal approved by the DAO.
Proposal Aims:
With this proposal, I expect that stopping animal killing would reduce all the token inflation of the game temporarily and would grant us some time to react and find a solution while contributing to prize stabilization thanks to inflation stops. We are all in the same boat; we all lost money here; that's why I also expect some general brainstorming to find a solution instead of keeping the current inactivity and letting this boat sink with all of us inside of it. Some time of paused inflation should be enough to solve the tokenomics and game mechanics problems the project is facing and start driving the price up instead of this constant dump. Also, the liquidity removed from ETH because of the Multichain hack will help in reducing significantly the sell pressure from IDO participants, helping in the recovery of the price if we manage to reduce inflation.
Voting Options:
Option 1: Stop the killing for some time. Vote in favor of the temporary stop of animal killing and support the objectives of this proposal.
Option 2: Don't stop the killing temporarily. Vote against stopping the animal killing; keep the game as it is, nothing changes, and we keep hyperinflating with a game model that doesn't work.
Option 3: Approve but with changes. Agree to stop the killing temporarily to solve the project issues, but with some conditions before doing it. This would lead to more discussion in the group but no real change until another proposal gets approved. (link to reddit discussion attached)
Thank you for reading and take action on the vote, please consider the long term stability and potential reversal of the project before casting your vote, we already have a fun working product that needs some adjustments to shine and moon.
