The Wine Cellar: The Supercharged Winery DAO Governance Client

Proposal: DAO Governance is hampered by numerous issues: proposals are walls of text, discussion happens chaotically across platforms, and decisions feel difficult. The Wine Cellar enables discussion, better data, and new features in order to scale Winery DAO to the next level. Our team of proven builders, who have secured funding before from projects like Nouns, are here to make this a reality.

Features:

• Discussion: long-form discussion on every proposal to replace the need for Discourse and/or scattered Discord messages
• Feelers: temperature check ideas before bringing a formal proposal to the DAO
• Data: enriched context and data around proposals and voters
• Notifications: optional email notifications for new proposals or trending ideas, so you never miss another proposal
• Rich media: easily embed rich media in proposals to make them more fun
• Rewards: profile stats and POAPs for participation on proposals, in an effort to recognize and increase voter turnout

Funding:

• For software development and hosting the client the team is requesting 5 ETH

Roadmap:

• 3 weeks: MVP platform launch, ready for testing
• 6 weeks or sooner: Full platform launch, complete for Winery DAO holders to use

Long-term ideas:

• Integration with Prop House & other governance mechanisms
• Reputation Leaderboards

Team: Collective.xyz (holder of pass #234 & #235) is a web3 social platform for NFT DAOs to empower their members. In July, we rebranded from MomentRanks (you may know us from NBA Top Shot) to focus on supporting NFT DAOs. We have since secured a grant from Nouns to build a similar style client called House of Nouns and are working with other communities such as mfers and lil nouns.
