Project 79 Funds

Good afternoon tacos!

As most of you know, Project 79 is doing away with compounding after this month. The success of Project 79 has open doors for the founders to buy a mine with the mining partner - Burlcore. To facilitate growth and more transparency P79 is changing from the sacrifice model to an ownership model.

This transition will also provide more protections for holders as our tokens will represent something tangible, “equity share in the mine”. Since we currently have funds in P79 sacrifice model, we can choose to transition to the new model with a 20% uplift or we can also choose to remain in the sacrifice model until our funds unlock with no more compounding or deposits. The sacrifice model will be phased out, ending after all funds are unlocked.

There will be two tokens. The first is the P79 token. This token will represent our equity share in the mine. We will continue to earn 4 to 7% per month on our investment. The second is the gold pegged token. Earnings will eventually be paid out using this token. But it will not be developed for another 6 months more or less. For now we will be paid out in some form of stablecoin. Per Sam we will also have an option to choose how you are paid out the gold pegged token or in the stables. Compounding as we know it will no longer exist, but we can use your rewards to buy more P79 tokens and compound that way for as long as want.

The next opportunity to invest will be through the pre-sale which is live right now. If we purchase during the pre-sale, we will get a 10% uplift so for example $1000 will give you $1100. The option to transition all or part of your funds is also live on the Project 79 website.

There will be 3 choices:

1. Transition the January rewards only and wait to withdraw the balance when it becomes available.

2. Transition our entire account to the presale (we will not receive a February reward)

3. Withdraw rewards and initial stake when available
