⧗ Who are Epoch Elders? Epoch Elders are the guardians of Epoch Island. Their main responsibility is to make proposals that increase the economic activity and help Epoch Island become the crypto capitol of the world.

⧗ Who is Umar? Umar is the CTO and co-founder of Moai Labs (a web3 development agency) with prior industry experience within the financial technology and cybersecurity sectors. To date, Umar has been the author of the contracts produced for Moai Labs LLC which include vEPOCH and the upcoming ITO. If elected as Elder, Umar will provide technical counsel for forthcoming proposals and products, while also providing strategic guidance to facilitate the realisation of Epoch Island’s overarching objectives.

In the process, Umar will be sent a 1-of-1 non-transferrable NFT to represent his Eldership.

At any time, Epoch Island governance allows Islanders to vote and remove Umar as an Elder and retract his Eldership.
