Modified proposal for the future of epostories

We are bringing the vote to the community members again.

Our desire to be transparent about the changes as we advance is essential to us. We have found a flaw in the EpoStories contract that will not allow us to differentiate the price of the mints and the layers. It will be a .02 mint, and it will cost .02 to add layers. All existing points in the vote previously are unchanged.

We sincerely apologize for this oversight in the contract. As our endeavors to communicate fully continue, this new vote is mandatory in our eyes. We are very sorry about the inconvenience of the revote and the unpleasant nature of this unforeseen change.

The 0.02eth mint price will be directly allocated to the marketing budget for the EpoStories collection.

Right now, we have all eyes on Eponym. We have more resources now to up all levels of marketing and education. We have videos already in the pipeline to educate how to create an EpoStory. We may never have a better time to expose this space to ALL 3 collections simultaneously than right now while everyone is waiting in anticipation for the EpoHeroes reveal. With this in mind, we would like to propose a vote on how to capitalize on this timing opportunity with the intent to increase visibility and volume to gen1 and EpoStories.

In addition to this message, we will be holding an AMA to answer any questions Gen2 holders have regarding this vote.

We will answer all questions posed in the #TownHall channel and open dialogue about this vote and what it means for the EpoStories Collection.

We believe that with the burning more of the gen1 floor and these new adjustments to EpoStories, NOW is the time to strike.

With the lower barrier to entry into EpoStories and increased resources Eponym now has combined with the spotlight EpoHeroes have put us in, this is a tremendous opportunity for us to capitalize and reenergize the EpoStory collection.

Here are the following changes proposed to curate the Eponym collection & add utility to the EpoStory collection:

1. Reward current holders of EpoStories with a "Genesis" attribute. We believe this will raise the inherent value of the original EpoStories for the holders who first believed in this concept. We feel they deserve to be rewarded and distinguished from future EpoStories created.

2. Reopen the burn & mint perpetually. Burning two Gen1 Eponyms will be required to mint one EpoStory. This effectively allows the gen1 collection to be forever curated, thus solving the current battles with undesirable floor pieces, thereby raising the entire collection's value.

This also raises the awareness of EpoStories since the barrier to entry is more effortless and perpetually available. It is ultimately gaining the visibility that the EpoStories collection deserves.

3. Minting cost for EpoStories will be set to 0.02. This further lowers the barrier to entry and illustrates our commitment to the EpoStories collection. Even though the team of Eponym will incur server and operating costs, we believe this to be in the community and the collections' best interest to gain the momentum it needs.

4. Update the modification cost to 0.02ETH. In our efforts to continually search for new and different ways to optimize our operating procedures, we are able to lower this modification price to 0.02ETH going forward.

5. Open modification perpetually so that EpoStories could be modified at any time. This is particularly important for NEW buyers who are eagerly waiting to layer their brand new EpoStory that who may have previously abstained prior to these changes, because they could not modify immediately upon purchase. During the EpoHeroes mint we had a few examples of people who found us through EpoHeroes and were lead to EpoStories. It would have been great for them to have had the ability to immediately add their own layers.

If this vote is successful, it is our intention to implement these changes ASAP as to leverage the attention we currently have with EpoHeroes. Reopening the burn mechanism while we have the NFT space's attention on EpoHeroes is a strategy that we believe will be a good one to bring eyes to ALL of the eponym collections.
