Badge curation - The Multichain case

Summary:

The EtherScore DAO will be responsible for curating our badge collection in a community-driven way. To do this, we first need to experiment with 1) reputation-based governance, 2) badge curation process. This proposal will address the process of removing risky badges from our collection and ensuring the safety of our users.

As a first case, we propose to address the issue of the 2 Multichain badges, a bridge protocol that is now considered insecure. For context, here is a quote from Coindesk: "Multichain, one of the largest bridging protocols in the crypto world, said it is ceasing operations following the detention of CEO Zhaojun and his sister by Chinese police." To protect our users and maintain trust within our community, we recommend the following actions for the badges "Multichain user" and "Multichain LP":

Options:

1. Disable claimability on the 2 Multichain badges without migration to Beta: Badges are no longer claimable and will not be migrated to the beta. Users who have earned these badges will keep them and see them in their profile until the beta, at which time the user may lose up to 2 badges.
2. Disable claimability on the 2 Multichain badges with migration to Beta: Badges are no longer claimable and will be migrated to Beta. Users who have previously earned these badges will keep them in the Alpha and Beta versions. This action may result in some users not being able to reach the maximum number of badges.
3. Do not disable badges: We will keep the 2 Multichain badges as they are, and users will still have the freedom to use them. This option allows users to make their own decisions, but it puts users at risk.

Timeline:

We propose that the chosen option be implemented as soon as possible to address the concerns raised by the community.
