The EtherScore DAO will be responsible for curating our badge collection in a community-driven way. To do this, we first need to experiment with 1) reputation-based governance, 2) badge curation process. This proposal will address the process of removing risky badges from our collection and ensuring the safety of our users.
As a first case, we propose to address the issue of the 2 Multichain badges, a bridge protocol that is now considered insecure. For context, here is a quote from Coindesk: "Multichain, one of the largest bridging protocols in the crypto world, said it is ceasing operations following the detention of CEO Zhaojun and his sister by Chinese police."
