PRELIM Temporary Replacement of Council Member

Voting ended over 3 years agoFailed

Title: LIP-PRELIM Temporary Replacement of Council Member Author: Kakashi Date Created: 19th September 2022

This vote is to elect a temporary member for the 5th seat for Ethlizards Investment Council.

ABSTRACT This document proposes to install a temporary council member to replace WanderingCryptoWolf, who vacated his Investment Council seat by his own accord.

MAIN CHANGES This proposal aims to elect Kmao as a temporary 5th member to serve on the Investment Council until the time that other governance changes are voted on and implemented by the DAO. This temporary position would only exist until the time that new governance Council structures would be voted in by DAO members. This temporary position would not include the Council Member NFT or 1% compensation.

RATIONALE As we are seeking to propose significant governance changes to Council structure in the coming months, we do not feel it makes sense to elect a new Investment Council member replacement at this stage, since Council structure, roles and duties may change per upcoming proposed governance changes.

Context from Newsletter #1: Proposed changes to governance may include adding diverse councils to the DAO governance protocol to help manage various aspects (governance, investments, development)

As Kmao is already involved in partnerships, Investment Council deal flow and familiar with inner workings of Council, his position would allow him to conveniently fill this temporary seat.

Should we approve these temporary measures for the 5th Investment Council seat?
