Fund JT's team to create a "Who are the EVMavericks and why Ethereum matters." Educational Video

Summary This proposal requests DAO approval to fund the creation of a professional-quality educational video titled “Who are the EVMavericks and Why Ethereum Matters.” The goal is to clearly explain the identity of our community, highlight Ethereum’s core values, and provide a resource we can use for onboarding, promotion, and visibility.

Budget Request: Maximum of 2 ETH (or ~ $9,000 USD equivalent).

Motivation From the recent community survey, members strongly expressed a desire for: More visibility and promotion of the EVMavericks. Resources for onboarding newcomers into Ethereum safely. A clearer understanding of what the DAO is, what we stand for, and why we exist.

Right now, we have a great podcast, strong voices on social media, and a dedicated community — but no single piece of content that we can point people to as an introduction. This video would become a cornerstone asset that:

Explains who the EVMavericks are. Highlights Ethereum’s values (decentralization, censorship resistance, public goods, positivity). Establishes trust and recognition for our community. Helps onboard newcomers into the Ethereum ecosystem.

Specification Commission the production of at least a 5-7 minute video with high-quality visuals, voiceover, and editing.

Content scope: Who the EVMavericks are. What the DAO stands for. Why Ethereum matters. How to get involved and contribute. The video will be hosted publicly (YouTube, Twitter/X, Reddit) and shared widely across Ethereum communities. The DAO will retain rights to the video for free distribution and reuse.

Implementation Steps Approve budget (max 2 ETH). Open a short call for creators within the DAO to submit interest (2 weeks). Allow JT to build a team based on quality, alignment with Ethereum values, and cost. Write a Script draft Script draft reviewed by team Production + editing Video released with coordinated promotion (DAO podcast, Twitter/X, Reddit, ETH events).

Budget Max 2 ETH (~$9,000 USD). To cover: Scriptwriting & editing. Voiceover & production. Animation/graphics. Distribution/promotion assets. Any unused ETH will remain in the DAO treasury. Video team can requests more funds from the DAO if the 2 ETH is not enough to cover all costs, but would be subject to another DAO vote.
